So finally, after having bickered and fought like an old married couple, the Left formally filed suit against the Congress for divorce, citing the US of A as third party.
News! News! Our very own M.M.S., (read Manmohan Singh), after having been the butt of endless Laughter Challenge jokes, has finally showed Indians that he is the proud possessor of a razor-sharp tongue. Its not just George Bush smothering him with accolades, but, and here you have to trust me, several Indians too.
More than a gentleman, M.M.S. is a gentle man. Soft spoken to the point of being labeled the weakest Prime Minister ever and considered a Sonia-stooge by several, he finally seemed to come of age and gave strong unequivocal statements in favor of the Nuclear Deal.
What's more, at least on two occasions, he came out as that rare politician who does not crave the chair like a drug addict. Once, he offered to resign if he could not carry the deal forward, and then he went ahead with his mission of giving I.A.E.A. the nod even when the Left threatened to pull out.
Good going, Sir! We wish you a happy wedded life with Softie Singh Yadav. :)

There is no doubt the Manmohan Singh is an intellectual.But I doubt that this deal is a result of a mutual understanding between Left,SP and Congress.
Congress wanted this deal desperately and Left could not support the deal in public(Anti-America).We all know the closeness between Left and SP.It was just left who have supported SP at many occasions(Amar Singh was rediculed at UPA dinner but still left supported him).Even at the time when the Amar Singh's phones got tapped,it was only LEFT that managed to prevent his tapes from getting public.No doubt his tapes contained lot of sex-talks with bollywood gals.SP can never dare to do anything that annoys Left.Its a deal to save the face or left and save the Govt.
I have huge regards for MMS and he is definately a Scholars usually do the right things but they hardly have the Guts to do anything.A spineless scholar is not an asset ,instead a liability.
Remember he did not have any opinion about the Caste based reservations or Office of Profit.Why didnt he show such a desperation for Women Reservation bill.Why is he quite when Ramdoss(his health minister) is messing with Dr Venugopal.They went to such a cheap politics that parliament enacted a new law just to throw Dr Venugopal out of AIIMS.And Govt got a slap on their face when Supreme Court slammed the Govt of India for making laws to settle individual ego tussles.
The latest fashion of being a highly regarded person is to be quite.Do not take sides.Donot be with right,do not be with wrong.So eventually u enjoy the support of both Right and Wrong.SO you are respected by both sides.You become populor.Basically Right suffers and Wrong enjoys.
Probably he reserves his punch for International Issues only. :D

Are Bhai,Its not MMS punch,its a Bush's punch, when Sam Uncle wants something to happen,even the exiled like Bhutto and Nawaz sharif come back to Pak and form the Govt.
But yeah, I like MMS.Atleast he is not corrupt.This itself is a big thing.
